We started Beak Club for one reason: parrots destroy toys, and good toys cost a fortune.
Anyone who lives with a parrot knows the routine. You buy a toy, hang it up, and ten minutes later it's confetti on the cage floor. That's not a problem. Shredding is how parrots burn energy, use their beaks and stay happy. A bored parrot is a loud, unhappy parrot.
The problem is the price. Read any parrot forum and you'll see owners saying the same thing: they spent over $100 on toys and they were all shredded within a day.
So we put together boxes of toys made to be destroyed: rattan, sola, paper, raffia and grass rope, in a mix of textures your bird can tear into. You get a full box for less than a couple of toys from a pet shop, plus a cheaper Refill Box for when the shredding's done.
What we promise
- Honest descriptions. We tell you exactly what's in each box, including any bells, hooks or coloured paper.
- Toys for shredding. Mostly natural, soft materials chosen for tearing apart.
- Help when something goes wrong. If anything arrives damaged or missing, we'll replace or refund it.
